Biography
Brittany Hepner practices in the litigation section of The Minor Firm. Her practice areas include medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, general civil litigation, and business litigation. Her clients include physicians, advanced practice providers, medical practices, hospitals and long-term care facilities, commercial vehicle insurers, and a national casualty insurance carrier. Ms. Hepner’s health care law experience includes litigation, risk management, medical staff matters, and representation of providers in matters involving the Georgia Composite Medical Board and Georgia Board of Nursing. Her insurance defense experience includes cases with allegations of general negligence, premises liability, dog-bite, and nuisance.
Ms. Hepner is a native of Northwest Georgia. She attended Mercer University where she graduated summa cum laude from Mercer’s College of Liberal Arts in 2012. Ms. Hepner attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, graduating magna cum laude with the class of 2015, as a member of The Order of the Barristers and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. While in law school, Ms. Hepner was a published member of the Mercer Law Review, and sat on the 2014-2015 Executive Board of the Mercer Advocacy Council.
After graduation, Ms. Hepner retuned to the Northwest Georgia area where she clerked for the Honorable M. Cindy Morris of the Conasauga Judicial Circuit. Ms. Hepner joined The Minor Firm in 2016. She is a 2017 graduate of Emerging Leaders Institute and is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Dalton. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Conasauga Bar Association. Ms. Hepner enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children.
