Biography
Christiane is primarily a transactional attorney with a decade of legal experience. She specializes in real estate transactions, estate planning, and probate and estate administration. Valuing integrity and service to her community and clients, Christiane is committed to providing a quality legal experience.
Christiane graduated magna cum laude from Mercer Law School in 2014. In addition to graduating with honors, Christiane received the Guerry R. Moore Insurance Award and was inducted into the National Order of Scribes and the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. While in law school, she was a member of the Mercer Law Review; Christiane competed on the John J. Gibbons National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition; and she wrote and co-organized Mercer’s Hugh Lawson Memorial 1L Moot Court Competition. Outside of school, Christiane clerked for the Honorable Jason E. Ashford of the State Court of Houston County.
Throughout her legal career, Christiane has handled numerous guardianship and conservatorship cases across the Northwest Georgia region. Her knowledge of Georgia’s probate process is vast, ranging from simple estate administration matters to more complex probate proceedings. More recently, Christiane’s practice has primarily focused on residential real estate, including title examinations, real estate closings, and homeowners’ association matters. Christiane is also knowledgeable in nonjudicial foreclosures, Georgia Open Records Act compliance, creditor rights and liabilities in bankruptcy cases, and contract negotiations.
Outside of work, Christiane enjoys a good Netflix binge, attending her local church, and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
